Post-Christmas entry and a recommendation
Hey my lovelies!! *grouphug*

I am so overwhelmed with all the Christmas cards I got from you my dears!! Thank you one thousand times!

Cristina (crism79), your awesome card arrived today (a Hallmark card - squeeee!)!!! Thank you so much for the card and the sweet little gift!! I love it and it will fit perfectly on my new bag!! *smishes you*

I never did a recommendation before, but I have the massive urge to make an exception today.
My dears, if you haven´t read "Life´s that way" from Jim Beaver yet, go and read it right now!

This has nothing to do about being a fan of Supernatural or Jim Beaver, but it has to do with a neverending love, with incredible pain, sorrow and fears, with being only human and no superhero, with finding the strength to take one step after another and with the final conclusion "Lifes that way".

I never cried so much during reading a book ever. But  it´s not only sad, there are so many passages where I cracked up and laughed hysterically. I highly recommend this book to everyone who ever lost a loved person or knows someone who goes/went through such a hard time. It is comforting and it leaves you with the feeling that anything - even the things that look impossible at the very moment - is manageable as long there´s love and friendship and hope. And even those who haven´t suffered from a loss yet - go read it! It´s one of the most impressive books I ever read and I can´t wait to let my copy signed from Jim Beaver himself at Asylum Europe Convention.

Have a great Monday!

You didn´t? Oh you really have to read it.
It´s about the loss of his wife (she died from cancer) and their little daughter being diagnosed of autism..I´m incredibly impressed by this man how he deals with all these difficulties..I don´t want to give away too much of it though..:)

This book is still on my to-buy-list but I still haven't gotten around to actual get it! Grh.

I only hear good things about it though.

I wanted it for some time too. And with getting a 10 Euro voucher for amazon from a lovely friend, it was mine! :)

It is amazing..as I said, I never cried so much before, because I was so touched about his story so much..I normally don´t read memoires or such, but "Life´s that way" is worth it for sure.

That´s so true. It´s heartbreaking and touching. One of the best books I ever read.
I bought the book as a Christmas gift for Manu, and then I decided to order two copies of it, so we can both have it signed by Jim at the Con.
I am planning on having a photo op with Jim, but it depends on what it will cost..it would be great though.

Happy New Year to you too!

♥ you *huggles*
