No one should ever say again, that online friendship is no real friendship..
..or else they should get roasted like a marshmallow.

Seriously, what I had been able to witness those last couple of days is amazing! And I only seen probably half of it. People on Lifejournal, Twitter, DeviantArt, Facebook (I think) and Tumblr are uniting to support Amy. I also found new friends through this. See, even when SHE is the one that needs help, she manages in a certain way to look for her friends.

No real news about Amy´s status quo, but Karin updated again. If you read her last entry, you know that she wanted to create a blog or something like that, where she can collect all presents, well wishes and greetings for Amy to see when she´s waken up from her (now natural) coma. Maybe this will help her to learn everything quicker again, or at least fire up her willpower to keep fighting.

Anyway, here´s what you can do (if you want to, of course - it´s completely based on free will!)

LJ, Twitter and Tumblr

Think small, no need to go big and make it yourself difficult or too busy. Anything is appreciated :)

Karin also posted something VERY important:

First things first, with this whole project. If you have the address of Amy, do NOT share it with other people. Even if they say they want it to keep it a surprise and want to send her something. NO! No addresses are being shared. If people want to send something, they have to come to me and I will decide whether I will give it or not.
No sharing her last name, not her country, not anything! I'm very suspicious with the internet and I don't want any stalkers or other creeps coming here. Please keep this all in mind, thank you! <3

I trust you in this, of course, but I just wanted it to be made clear.

Also, Karin made a very lovely list about Amy....

- Amy is the kind of girl who doesn't care for money, but knows what money can do for other people. She sets up contests providing merchandise prizes, all paid by her own money. She buys randomly gifts for other people when she knows she can. She donates money to any good cause she thinks deserves it. She isn't rich, she just worked really hard for it and takes pleasure in making other people happy with it.

- Amy is the kind of girl who wheel chaired her way to the stores, bought 50 cards, 50 envelopes, even more stamps and SPN related prizes. She wrote them all personally, every single one of them with a personal message and sorted them all out. She wrote 50 letters for 50 of her friends on here.

- Amy is the kind of girl who plans out everything, can't handle spontaneous situations and needs to have full control in what she does. Sometimes annoying, but in times like this very nice. She has written all the info for me to keep her groups going, so that people can still have the latest updates.

- Amy is the kind of girl who keeps fighting in a very stubborn way. She has been going through emotional abuse, beating, panic attacks, car accident and now this. And she always goes further, forgives people, searches up her fears and continues to see the best in people.

- Amy is the kind of girl you want to have as your friend. It's not healthy how much she cares about her friends. She had send me to a spa weekend two weeks earlier, because she felt so guilty. She kinda forced me to, even though she herself was ill. And I knew I couldn't argue. Annoying, but also sweet. She is the kind of friend who always has your back, listens more than talking, makes you laugh when you need it and will always be there for you. She is the kind of friend who cries for you, when you can't. She is someone you can trust and will never let you go.

You see? Amy is amazing. Even without not knowing her in person, I am humbled by & grateful for being allowed to call her my friend.
Karin also posted a picture of Amy, so we get a face to the name. Of course she asked to not repost it anywhere, and that´s why I´m not doing it either. But I think you are welcome to take a look at it in Karin´s entry HERE

Before I forget it: A hashtag for Amy has been made over at Twitter. It´s #StrengthForAmy, so whenever you want to pass on news there, or if you want to know if there´s something new on her state, search for the hashtag. I made a list, so whenever someone uses this hashtag, I will add this person to my list.

Over everything that has happened to Amy, let´s not forget other members of our family here @LJ. I told you about Michael, aka micamonroe, right? I don´t have any news about him, but I hope he will recover soon. Just like Amy, Mica has awesome friends in here, and one of them is Isa, (deanvica23) She created a community to support Mica´s fight for life as well as a support for Mica and his boyfriend. Let´s stand together in this fight against homophobia. NOH8 is the keyword here.

You are very welcome to join and participate actively. Isa has been so kind to post updates about Amy too. It´s a community for everyone that is in need for help. It´s a good place - thank you for that Isa.

Also, I won´t forget about another friend of mine, who is going through a rough time at the moment. I won´t go into much detail, but moondropz is going to have a very serious surgery tomorrow and I want to wish her Good Luck for it. I know this next weeks and months are going to be tough on you, but you have to know that your Live Journal family will be here for you through every step (literally) of the way. *HUGS*

There´s something else tomorrow. My birthday. My biggest birthday wish is that both Amy and Mica would wake up, or at the very least, are out of danger, and for Sue to not need the whole surgery at all. *crosses fingers*

Speaking of my birthday...SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! MARTINA AND TANJA!!! *GROUPHUG* YOUR AWESOME CARDS ARRIVED TODAY!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! <3333 LOVE YOU GURLZ!! (oh and Tanja: if everything goes the way we planned..you know we´ll meet each other in June..*grin*)

You are more than welcome, Karin. After everything you do for Amy - which in your eyes comes naturally, I guess, but in reality this is beyond awesome and not a given thing - I think a little help here and there is the least thing I can do for you and Amy.
Thank you, Karin. For everything. ♥

*hugs you close*

Btw: About Amy´s adress: you gave me her adress back in September/October I think. And now I don´t know if I understood it right, you guys moved to a house, right? Or have I missunderstood this? Is this the same adress? *is confused*

She has been going through emotional abuse, beating

Dammit she had a bad past with his parents?

As im taken by the community now as admi and in the next weeks i want open different projects for mica I cant really give my time on Amy. But i thought to send her a card of france if you arrive to find me a address. Mica Wakes up more and more often but for the the moment dont remember of the attack. Now with all the injuries in the next days or weeks it will go in reabilitation and will need of us. Keep private quay want to keep a privacy for mIca. When you want to know on Mica email me.

Good chance for the surgery for your friend. And tomorrow birthdaytimeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I honestly don´t know about what has happened, I only knew she had a tough time. And I only could figure this out by reading between the lines, you know? But if it were that way, it´s even more amazing that she is such a postive and friendly girl, so full of life and energy.

About the adress: If you want, you can contact Karin (via Amy´s LJ) and she decides if she´s telling you the adress or not, that´s what she wrote and I have to respect that. Just give it a try! :)

No problem, honey! It´s completely understandable that you focuse on Mica now!
And it´s great to hear that Mica is waking up more often! Thank God! And of course I do respect the wish for privacy too.

Thank you, Isa! I hope the surgery goes well. *sigh* So many things are happening at the moment, it´s crazy!

YEEEEEEES!! Birthdaytime!! Means I´m once again a year older!! LOL

*hugs you*

Someone said that online friendship is no real friendship? Jeez. We all know that that's not true. ;)

Amy is my friend too, she's so amazing. <3

It's terrible what happened to Mica, I can't believe these types of things are still happening. :(

On a more positive note, happy early birthday to you!! Hope you have an awesome day! And I hope your wishes come true too. I'll keep my fingers crossed as well.

Well, at least most of my family does..and yes, there are others who think that "how can you believe what anyone tells you on the internet? Thy can say that they are young woman with the same interests but might as well be a serial killer or something." None of them has ever experienced such a thing - EVER, and none of them knows that not everything on the internet is like FB or half-serious dating sites...not everything in here is shallow, not at all..I feel this every day, especially here on LJ...I´ve never met more friendly, more open and welcoming people whom I´m thankful to call my friends than in here. It´s one place where neither borders, race or gender matters, it´s all about who we truly are, no need to fake something. This might sound naive, but that´s how I see it.

Amy is such a wonderful girl, and I hope from the bottom of my heart that she´ll pull through. Same goes for Mica..and yes, I totally agree, it´s a poor evidence of what mankind still is...stupid, shortminded cavemen, over and over again.

Awww! Thank you so much!! I "think" my day will be very awesome! :) Thank you...I need nothing more than those wishes to come true. ♥
