1 + 1 = 2 (important topics)
First important topic: There´s a lovely girl celebrating her birthday today!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO aelia1980 !!!
GIRL, I HOPE YOU HAVE THE MOST AWESOME DAY OF YOUR LIFE!!!
*BIRTHDAYHUGS YOU*

Second important topic: a meme seen at a_phoenixdragon ´s LJ:

5 questions meme:
- Comment with
"Paper. Scissors. Rock. Spock. Merlin."
- I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
- Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
- Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

Here are her questions for me (and no, Mandy, they aren´t stupid at all - LOVE THEM!):

1) What are your top five TV shows of all time?

1. MacGyver - always and forever
2. Supernatural
3. Vampire Diaries
4. Gilmore Girls
5. Charmed
(no real shockers there, right?)

2) What kind of books/fanfiction do you generally read?

Books: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror (not the `heavy´ stuff though), books about ancient cultures and occultic stuff.
Fanfiction: I stick to my mainfandom here: Supernatural (but only Dean/Sam - no other pairing will do)  J² (this is my OTP for sure); Then there´s the Vampire Diaries fandom too..Elena/Damon :)  Oh and - I love AU kind of stories - so many possibilities to play around with them *giggles* Oh, how I wished I´d be a tiny bit talented in writing FF´s..*sigh* ;)

3) What/who is your favorite band/musician?

Phew...am I allowed to list more than one each? Because I love so many bands/musicians, I can´t choose only one...let´s see...

Bon Jovi
Linkin Park
30 Seconds to Mars
HIM
Daughtry
Nickelback

Bryan Adams
Robbie Williams (only as solo-artist..don´t care about Take That)
Chris Kane
Jason Mraz

and probably hundreds more...LOL

4) Do you prefer day shift, swing (2nd) shift, or night shift while working?

Now that´s a tricky question...my early shift starts at 6 am which means I have to get up at 4:20 am to get my morning routine done (breakfast, bathroom, LJ *gg*) To say I HATEHATEHATE to get up that early is an understatement, but there´s no downside without an upside, right? I do get off at 3:30 pm, which is cool because you totally can do something else after work too. That´s the downside of my late shift, starting at 9:30 am and ending at 7 pm. Most of the times I come home around 7:30 which doesn´t leave a lot of free time anymore..but..I can sleep in until almost 8 am!! That´s a definite plus!! LOL I totally would love to have a night shift, but I guess, there´s no need for preparing meals during the night, right? ;) Okay, to sum it all up, I guess it´s an equal tie between early and late shift. :)

5) What is your fondest memory?

Hmmm..that´s even trickier than the last one...there are a lot of beautiful memories I have about my late grandmother. She died when I was 9 years old, and there´s not a day gone by without me missing her terribly.
Oh, she made my childhood pure heaven, allthough my mum went crazy with fear so often...looking back I totally understand her POV. Granny used to come by early in the morning, fetching me to go on a trip. She never told anyone where she´s planning to take me, or when she´ll be back. Sometimes we´d take the train to our capital city to visit the "fairytale ride" which is like a ghost train within a cave, only with fairytales (Take a look here)  displayed - or sometimes she´d took me to some distant relatives of hers..those are amazing adventures if you are a little kid, but my mum died 1000 deaths not knowing about my whereabouts...you have to remember it was a time without cellphones or the likes (plus, back then we didn´t even have a landline!!) Also, back then she already had been an old lady in her eighties...imagine what could´ve happen! But still...I try to save these precious memories like a treasure!

Okey dokey, I guess that´s it..hope you like my answers, Mandy!! <3 Now, my dear friends, it´s your turn! (and I still have no clue what Spock and Merlin have to do with all that LOL)

Lots of love,
Andy

How are you? I hope you're having a good week!

I'm gunna go with Rock. I like Rock :D

*hopes they're mostly fandom-related questions cos RL sucks*
Andrea: Jared *wink*lupina78 on January 27th, 2011 02:07 pm (UTC)
I´m having some days off, which mostly means I´m doing fine! *grin*

Sipping herbal tea, sitting in front of my compi, listening to Bon Jovi and looking out into a winter-y neighbourhood - what can I expect more from life? ;)

Rock it is, then..I´ll try to come up with some good questions...

1. Favourite actor of all time
2. Favourite song
3. How `infected´are you with the Supernatural-fever? Like..do you squee in public if "Carry on my wayward son" is played? Or, do you keep your cool? ;)
4. Tell me your most favourite scene from Supernatural, please.
5.What is the most awesome thing you´ve ever done in your life? (yes, I know..RL, but *pretty please*)

Hope they are okay, if not, I´ll find some other questions!! :)

*huggles*

Lynz: J2 - head on shoulderblackcalic0 on January 27th, 2011 03:46 pm (UTC)
Oh, that sounds awesome! Actually, that's what I do most days even though I'm meant to be 'looking for a job', whatever that is!

Bon Jovi, what a perfect start to a few days off. I forgot to comment on your music taste - it's almost identical to what I love to listen to, apart from HIM. I was obsessed with them whilst I was at uni but now I've gone off them. I think it was the 'Venus Doom' album that did it :S

Okay, a couple of those are going to be hard but I'll get right onto them!
Andrea: Jensen drumslupina78 on January 27th, 2011 03:56 pm (UTC)
Oh the evilness that is `jobhunting´ suffered through it for so many years! But in the end it worked out for me - and so it will for you too! *crosses fingers*

Bon Jovi is perfect for whatever reason :) Great we even have the same taste in music!
To be honest..I LOVED HIM from the first time I heard Wicked Game and was lost with Join me..but I have the feeling ever since this success they try too hard to be more mainstreamy than they should be IMHO..I like them edgy and dark and non-commercial...but music-industry with their always oh-so important profits does that to almost everyone I guess..*sigh* Saw HIM live once and they blew my mind!

No one said it´d be easy!!! *evilgrin* Can´t wait to read your answers though! :)
Lynz: Jared - sexy glassesblackcalic0 on January 27th, 2011 04:36 pm (UTC)
Yeah, 'cept from I've been hunting and doing work experience on the side since May last year! :S I just can't find anything that I'm really that enthused with. I've tried my hand at teaching at the end of last year and I'm thinking of going down that route but it's hard cos I'm so quiet! But thank you for your wise words. I too hope it works out.

You're right, they have tried to become too mainstream. That's what I liked about them in the first place is that they weren't well known and you'd be hard-pushed to find someone that had heard of them. But now they're played on the radio which I thought would never happen with a band like that. Once a band I 'discovered' is played on the radio my liking for them instantly goes down. My sister got my into them.

You're evil giving me just one choice for my favourite song and SPN scene! *shakes fist*

I'm so dumb, everyone is posting the whole "Rock, paper, scissors" thing I just chose rock! You probably think I'm such a dumbass! I don't read stuff properly evidently.

Edited at 2011-01-27 04:38 pm (UTC)
Andrea: Tinkerbell - I´m innocentlupina78 on January 27th, 2011 04:49 pm (UTC)
Oh wow! Teaching..awesome!! I couldn´t do that - I´m way too shy for that! :)

This is absolutely what I think too!! Once they´re on radio or in the charts, they lose their uniqueness..happened to so many artists!!

Evil? Me?? No way!! *blinks innocently* ;D

Naaaaaah that´s not true!! You is smart!!
The very sense of the actual game is to chose one word - how would one know that it´s different in here? I couldn´t figure out why Spock and Merlin are in there too...so in the end, we´re both dumbasses - if it helps! *rofl*

*huggles*
Lynz: SPN boys - serious businessblackcalic0 on January 27th, 2011 05:42 pm (UTC)
I'm really shy too but strangely only around people my age and older...adults in other words. I feel like kids don't judge so much and I think that's what the problem is.

Yes you! It took me like 2 hours to do that meme! Mostly cos I was looking for the right gifs, but still those two questions were hard. If you comment I will have to think of equally hard questions for you to answer!

Yeah, Spock and Merlin really threw me too. It should be Fire like in the Friends episode! ;D
Andrea: Damon-oops MADE 4 ME-NOT SHAREABLE!!lupina78 on January 27th, 2011 05:52 pm (UTC)
Quite the same here too! I have a great way with kids (only as long as I can give them back to their parents..I`m always tempted to say "owners" LOL) and I love teaching them things...but I´m not the most patient teacher and I tend to be very strict, or as my cousin pointed out: "if you where our teacher, the whole class would hate you!" *evilgrin*
Am shy around "grown-ups" too, mostly because I don´t feel like grown-up at all! :)

Oops??? Sorry! ;) Have to take a look *jumps over to your LJ*

*giggles* Would´ve made more sense, yes. ;D
Lynz: J2 - head on shoulderblackcalic0 on January 27th, 2011 07:10 pm (UTC)
LOL "owners"! XD That's how I think of them too! I would be so embarrassed if that slipped out if I was speaking to one of the parents though! What do you do, if you don't mind me asking?

Hey don't worry about it! *hugs* I enjoyed doing it, it wasn't a chore!
Andrea: J2 touch <3lupina78 on January 27th, 2011 07:15 pm (UTC)
*grin* That wouldn´t be all too wise ;)

I work in the kitchen of an care home. Thought I´d be able to *hide* from people there, but you think it worked? Nope, it didn´t..I have to overcome my shyness day by day...

Lynz: SPN boys - heads togetherblackcalic0 on January 27th, 2011 08:42 pm (UTC)
Haha, no chance! I'm sure the residents are quite demanding! ;)
Andrea: the world can be amazing when you´re slilupina78 on January 27th, 2011 08:56 pm (UTC)
Yeah, funny thing, they don´t care if you prepare the food in the kitchen, they want you to serve it to them!!! Very demanding if you ask me!! LOL
Plus, I´m the world´s worst waitress and we have to cover the Cafeteria too...I even can´t bring my own coffee cup from the coffee pot to the table without spilling and then I have to serve two trays of coffee or tea to visitors..needless to say I have no existing talent for maths...so, I guess I´m the worst cashier in this universe too! LOL

My dreamjob would be sitting in a dusty cellar-room, surrounded by old books and files, where I have no chance to meet people at all! *grin* I guess I´m a hermit! LOL
Lynz: SPN Team Free Willblackcalic0 on January 27th, 2011 09:40 pm (UTC)
When my Grandad was in a home he used to pester the staff for biscuits and tea all the time, and then you've got the visitors - sometimes whole families - so I know how busy you must be at work and I don't envy you doing it.

HAHA, no you'd go crazy down there on your own! Would you ever come out?! I'm a bit of a recluse too but I don't enjoy it all the time. Sometimes it's nice to dust off my socialisation skills by coming out of my room from time to time.
Andrea: Insane and proud of it!lupina78 on January 27th, 2011 10:02 pm (UTC)
LOL That´s exactly what I am facing day by day! Only it´s not biscuits and tea, it´s more a certain sort of juice or questions like "when do we finally get cake and coffee?"

Probably...but I´d be a happy crazy person then! LOL Of course I wouldn´t stay there all the time, and it´s more the calm routine that would do it for me..doing one thing after another, not 10 things at the same time! LOL
Deborah: James - Exam timedebris4spike on January 27th, 2011 02:18 pm (UTC)
They are good questions, aren't they? When I was at college I preferred the early start for the same reason ... if you have a late start you tend to lie in and waste the morning.

Still, if the course etc works out, I'll be learning the fun of shifts!

PS
"Paper. Scissors. Rock. Spock. Merlin." ... if you can actually think of anything, that is!
Andrea: D/E Bad Romancelupina78 on January 27th, 2011 02:28 pm (UTC)
Absolutely, they are! Early starts are hard for me because I´m not a morning person at all..but being off early definitely has its plus!

It will work out just fine, I´m sure about that. Can´t wait for news from you about it!

Hehe..you want it, you got it..

1. What was your most interesting/adventureous journey ever?
2. If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would that be?
3. Tell me your most favourite Spike-scene (both Buffy and Angel count of course)
4. What kind of books do you read? (I remember seeing a beautiful bookshelf in one of your pictures)
5. Favourite song of all time!

Hope you like what I chose for you. If not, I´m willing to think about something else, of course!

AWW! You´re more than welcome! *hugs back*

Of course I do remember the birthdays of my friends! (it only happens from time to time that I´m not online that day, and that makes me feel like *epic fail*) But normally I try to be here - because I think I have the most awesome friends ever and each and everyone deserves to get at least a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" from me (especially since I can´t do anything else, like creating art or the likes..)

Anyway..enough babbling - enjoy your day darling! ♥

Also vielen lieben Dank *drück*
Andrea: J2 huglupina78 on January 28th, 2011 10:05 am (UTC)
Deutsch ist auch gut! :)

*grrr*

Ojegerle...keinen guten Tag gehabt??

*seufz*

Ohhh, I LOVED you answers!! Indeed!! Mac forever!!

Like the kind of books/fiction you're into! *High-fives you*

Tis hard to pick just one band!

Sounds like a hard toss-up!! Too bad it can't be 'in-between', lol!!

Your grandma was awesome!! Who wouldn't love to have such a shining soul in their life?

*Squishes you tight*

Love your answers, sweetie!!

*Adores you*

Glad you liked my answers! Mac forever! *grin*

Your book-question made me realize that it´s been far too long since I read one..have to change that soon..*sigh*

Hells yes, it was too hard to pick one of them..even more so because I´m a complete loser when it comes to decisions like that ;)

OHHHHHHHH In-between would be AWESOMETASTIC - gotta talk to my boss about that sometime! :D

She really was an incredible woman. And being her only grandchild I got spoiled like WOAH! ;)

*SQUISHES BACK REALLY HARD*

1. What´s your favourite piece of clothing you own?
2. If you could choose between going back into the past or going into the future, what would you choose?
3. Tell me your guilty pleasure!
4. 5 of your most favourite movies.
5. Glass half full or half empty?

So, I hope you´ll like what I came up with! ♥

5. Charmed

Andrealupina78 on January 27th, 2011 05:38 pm (UTC)
Aber sowas von!!
Ich hab Charmed GELIEBT!! Phoebe!!!

Andrea: Ian wet and sexy on the beach ;)lupina78 on January 27th, 2011 06:18 pm (UTC)
Genau! So...arrogant irgendwie..

Jaaaaa! Die Szene war herzzerreissend! Baby! ;)

"Paper. Scissors. Rock. Spock. Merlin."

I like to play!!

I really like your answers, I learned science in school through McGyver. We had to watch the episode as homework and did check out if it would work as it was shown. And it did!! My mother did ask my teacher on parent-teacher night if I had to watch it as homework *gg* She didn't believe me.

Your bands I like as well. Not all the songs but Aranka was into HIM and 30 sec from Mars for a while and I enjoyed listening to them as well. Bon Jovi the early thing as I haven't heard the newer stuff yet. (must do that sometime soon)

Your Grandmother sounds like she was a real nice person. I understand both you and your mother. You in loving the adventure and your mother in her worries.

Sorry no German as it all went blank when I tried.
Andrea: MacGyver <3 made4melupina78 on January 27th, 2011 06:41 pm (UTC)
First things first..*DIES FROM HOTNESS* Danke, jetzt ist mir ganz ganz warm!! *grins*

You did what???? OMG I would´ve wanted to watch MacGyver for homework too!!! This is amazing!! *loves your teacher for that* Aww..your mother should´ve trusted you on that..*giggles*

30 Seconds to Mars are such a great band and I loved HIM back when they had Join me out...but it´s sad to say that HIM have lost their uniqueness and edgy style...I don´t like the mainstreamy stuff they have nowadays..but I still love Ville..he´s cool! :)
Go and listen to Bon Jovi..they´re totally worth it, I swear!! :)

She really had been a wonderful woman, for me she was my hero back then. And from being a grown up person now, I absolutely understand my mum´s worries..would´ve driven me crazy too!

Dein Deutsch ist immer noch toll! Way better than my Dutch! LOL

Okay...hmm here are my 5 questions for you:

1. Tell me your biggest dream
2. Your top 5 movies
3. What was the scariest thing you had to live through?
4. Have you ever regretted something in your life?
5. Your favourite Spike-moment - could be from Buffy or Angel (and yes, I asked debris4spike the same question LOL)

Hope you like your questions, if not, I´m willing to change of course!!

*hugs*
